I have Dell Poweredge Cisco 2921 price  server and I want to use 4Tb drives. To do so it seems that I need to upgrade the RAID controller. Is this server compatible with PERC H710P, H810, or H710? If so which particular version of the card do I need and how do I do the upgrade?

All of those RAID controllers use a PCIe connection, so there shouldn't be a problem using any of them. But it'll get a little complicated to move all of your data to teh new RAID array. You'll basically need to back up the existing array (using something like Acronis), then set up a new array on the new controller with the new drives, and restore the backed up data there.

It is not officially supported.  The H710 is only supported in the newest 12G servers by Dell.  11G servers support the H700.  The Cisco 2951   is a 9th generation server.  Someone said he put an H700 in a 2900 and it seemed to work just fine through all his tests, but just know up front that it is not supported, so 1) it may or may not work, either now or down the road, and 2) if you require Dell's support with any system or storage-related issues, they likely won't be able to help you with the H710 in the system.
